AHT’s Malaria Pathology Assistant™ electronically identifies parasites in medical images and archives patient information with those medical images in a malaria pathology portal.

With worldwide, real-time service and global availability of blood smear images, the Malaria Pathology Assistant provides centralized reports, patient management and workflow tracking for clinical care, as well as for pharmaceutical developers and clinical research organizations.

AHT can analyze blood for the presence of parasites such as Babesia (Babesiosis), Plasmodium (Malaria) and T. cruzi (Chagas). Babesiosus a potentially lethal, tick-borne parasitic infection that destroys erythrocytes. Currently there is no FDA-approved test for Babesia in donor blood. Approximately 13 million donations should be tested annually. AHT provides standardized, repeatable, automated parasite detection and quantification, 7-minute scan for parasites and density, clearly highlighted reticulocytes for visual analysis, real-time collaboration and blood analysis from any location in world. AHT's database allows case tracking and provides medication tables as well as instructional documents and real-time reporting worldwide.

Clinical Services

Practitioners may electronically request second opinions to save time and promote standardization. AHT provides customized data management based on client input and study methodology. This automates manual processes and workflows for collecting and organizing clinical and pharmaceutical data. AHT gathers medical and treatment information through dynamic logic and identifies pathogens or abnormal tissues.

Epidemiological Tools

Archive and registry processing is vital to research but has been difficult and costly to perform manually. AHT creates numeric and repeatable baselines, deltas and progress results for case specimens and treatments. AHT tracks specific cell and nuclei attributes, types, sizes, ratios, and rare events to strengthen organizations’ performance of electronic analysis and research.
